The SUPERSHINE project has released a comprehensive set of financial and socio-economic analyses, demonstrating that deep energy renovation in social and affordable housing delivers strong returns, substantial energy savings, and measurable reductions in energy poverty across Europe.
The final event of the SUPERSHINE project took place at the Riga City Council, bringing together project partners, local stakeholders, and European experts to celebrate the project’s achievements and reflect on the lessons learned from years of collaboration. The event combined both onsite and online participation, offering a dynamic platform to present the project’s key results, share success stories from the lighthouse demonstrators, and discuss how social housing renovation can effectively tackle energy poverty while promoting sustainable urban development across Europe.

Last week, SUPERSHINE was represented at Building Change a Conference organised by the European Investment Bank,on the theme Building Change: Boosting Innovation for Affordable and Sustainable Housing in Europe at the Meier Auditorium of the MACBA – Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona.
