Inclusive Renovation: Reaching Vulnerable Groups and Tackling Energy Poverty

Following its contribution to the first session on the 9th of December, SUPERSHINE will take part in the second webinar of the series, which focuses on how renovation initiatives can better reach vulnerable groups and address energy poverty across Europe.
Riccardo Coletta and Flaminia Rocca will represent SUPERSHINE, sharing insights from the project’s work on renovating social housing districts to reduce energy poverty, empower residents, and create smart, low-carbon neighbourhoods.
Organised within the Renovation Dialogue Webinar Series, this session “Inclusive Renovation: Reaching Vulnerable Groups and Tackling Energy Poverty” will explore concrete approaches that ensure no one is left behind in the Renovation Wave. Through community engagement, inclusive governance, and socially driven solutions, speakers will highlight how renovation can be both equitable and impactful.
Featuring contributions from:
MULTICARE – advancing modular, climate-resilient renovation solutions supported by digital decision tools.
FORTESIE – developing smart, user-friendly renovation packages combined with innovative financing models.
Citizen-led Renovation (CLR) – empowering communities through peer learning, local support structures, and citizen-driven renovation pathways.
SUPERSHINE – renovating social housing districts to reduce energy poverty and build smart, zero-carbon neighborhoods, presented by Dr. Paola Zerilli.
Stakeholders, practitioners, policymakers, and social housing organisations are invited to join this discussion on inclusive renovation practices that prioritise vulnerable groups and strengthen energy justice.
