For the first time the built environment community will come together at a dedicated conference aiming to break barriers and tackle retrofit in the UK at scale.
The FREE day-long event aims to reimagine the challenge through co-creation between communities, users of the built environment, those creating the built environment and those setting the net zero policy.
This conference is for anyone involved in retrofit: working or learning in the built environment, construction companies and those working or learning in construction, professional services, commercial property owners and landlords, suppliers, community groups and homeowners, educators and trainers, co-ops and charities, local authorities and public services, policy and standard.
The afternoon will be a chance to get deeper into key topics with seminars, workshops, demos and interactive sessions.
During the afternoon, SUPER-i’s Project Coordinator and SUPERSHINE’s Scientific Coordinator, Dr.Paola Zerilli, will host a workshop/session about:
The workshop will help to understand the specific of the Scottish case, with the aim of producing a Europe wide set of policy recommendations to be published as part of the project work packages, and disseminated through the project website and social media, and through the academic and business publications of the consortium members.
The Supershine project, which builds on the work of Super-i, focuses specifically on the social impact of energy efficiency interventions in social housing, and we are seeking opportunities to collaborate with Scottish HAs.
